The (not-so) “Magic” Fat Loss Secret

Let’s get clear on this fact right from the door:

Your nutritional habits w ill have a far greater impact on your body composition and physique goals than any other fitness component.

You can’t out-train a crappy diet.

That plain and simple, my friend.

A: Clean up your diet.

Q: Give me the magic fat loss secret, Nate!
A: No problem, my friends. Stop eating crap.

Do you see what I’m saying?

Talk to any NATURAL bodybuilder, fitness model, or anyone who has ever been super lean… and I guaran-damn-tee you they’ll tell you diet was by far the most important factor to slashing fat and looking awesome.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for 15 years now, have personally trained hundreds of people, and have advised thousands more. I’ve worked with pro athletes, natural bodybuilders, bikini girls, fitness models, busy professionals, entrepreneurs, strippers, and crazy people alike.

There has been only one universal theme.

The clients who used diet as their primary weapon in the war on fat loss were the ones who obtained the best results.

They won…swiftly and quickly.

The clients who tried to use exercise to offset a poor diet – or the ones who thought they could eat whatever they wanted because they were exercising – obtained mediocre results at best.

They tried to out-train a poor diet, and many of them are still fighting a battle they will never win.

I learned this lesson the hard way myself. There was a time in my life where I was a good performance athlete – sprinter, martial artist, acrobat, and stunt performer. I did this all while being skinny-fat.

It wasn’t until I nailed down and implemented my diet philosophy that I was able to attain a ripped physique and gain some success in the physique world.

The moral of the story is: you can’t change your body just by exercising.

As a matter of fact, I’d say the majority of you – if your goal is getting a beach-ready physique – are wasting your time in the gym until you clean up your diet and implement a sound nutrition protocol.

Until you make some changes in your diet, any training program – even the greatest training program in the world, or the revolutionary new one, or the program with all of those lost training “secrets,” or even Miyaki’s “Magic” Strategies – will be meaningless.

So whether you’re at home or on the road, always take a nutrition-first approach.
